Featured Guest Speaker
Jen believes in a world where all people are nourished. As founder of Kitchen Table Consulting, she facilitate the hard conversations, designs the convenings, and develops the leaders who carry food and farm systems and broader systems-change work forward.
To do this work and help client organizations, Jen has brought in grants and excels at showing organizations how to use the tools of our time, including AI paired with detailed specifics and prompts to draft high quality proposal responses.
Increasingly Jen works in two ways: with the organizations and coalitions doing the work, and with the funders supporting it — bringing fractional program strategy, grantee learning, and listening processes to foundations, and deep facilitation and leadership development to the communities on the ground. Knowing how both sides think is what makes the work impactful.
She's also a book author and speaker, passionate about empowering girls. She volunteers as a Board Member for her local food cooperative, for her local community foundation, and fundraises to send girls in Haiti to private schools.
At heart, all of it is the same work: gathering people around the table, and making sure everyone there is nourished — and heard.
You're doing work that matters, but the fog of isolation and overwhelm is real. Between the weight of the vision and the exhaustion of figuring out where to start, is your nervous system asking for focus and a reset?

Tell us a little about you and your work:
Your brain naturally cycles through peaks and valleys of focus roughly every 90 minutes — a pattern called ultradian rhythms.
At each peak, attention and neurochemicals are primed for deep, demanding work. After about 90 minutes, they begin to dip. Working with these cycles rather than against them is one of the most practical ways to protect both your output and your energy over the long haul.
