ON JULY 23
Selena is one of the social impact sector's most thoughtful voices on the power of relationships, trust, and collective action. Selena has spent her career working across three continents — from New York and London to Paris and Asia — designing events, advocacy campaigns, and movement-building strategies for nonprofits and social enterprises. She founded BUILD out of a conviction that too much of the sector prioritizes maintaining existing power structures over making real change, and that the antidote is building genuine networks rooted in participation and shared purpose.
In this session, Selena will bring her signature clarity and warmth to a strategic topic that goes straight to the heart of what impact professionals need most: how to build and sustain the networks that actually move your work forward.
You're doing work that matters, but the fog of isolation and overwhelm is real. Between the weight of the vision and the exhaustion of figuring out where to start, is your nervous system asking for focus and a reset?

Tell us a little about you and your work:
Your brain naturally cycles through peaks and valleys of focus roughly every 90 minutes — a pattern called ultradian rhythms.
At each peak, attention and neurochemicals are primed for deep, demanding work. After about 90 minutes, they begin to dip. Working with these cycles rather than against them is one of the most practical ways to protect both your output and your energy over the long haul.
The June 4th launch session just took place and the recording will be available shortly!

ON JUNE 4
Begin with a somatic and mindfulness practice that helps you take pause from urgency, hyper-vigilance and overthinking, to return to what's real. Modern life and capitalist conditioning have left us disconnected, both from who we really are, and the natural world we belong to. Our hyperactivity and hyper-vigilance is a natural response to that rupture. By rooting into what's real — in the body, in this moment — we begin to re-member ourselves. We come back to the parts of ourselves, and our planet, that need our attention. And there, we find space to grow.
Kelly brings together mindfulness, breathwork, somatic practice, ritual and de-colonial nature-based practice to support justice-driven humans to re-member themselves and re-turn to what matters.

ON JUNE 4
Monthly giving is more than reliable revenue. It's an invitation to deeper connection. With Hydrating Humanity's One Tribe model as a case study, during a break before the second Pomodoro, Maria will show how nonprofits can offer monthly giving as an identity, shared purpose, and community — not just a transaction. You'll leave with practical ideas on naming, messaging, and donor updates that make monthly donors feel like they truly belong.
Maria will offer a special resource, "Sustainable Support: How to Grow Your Monthly Donor Base."
